New for 2012-2013
The HR department and DCs have agreed to ensure the following credit is available to all Teacher Leaders and PLT Team Members.
· You may work with your chair to include your work on Curriculum, Assessment, RtI, Differentiation, or Professional Learning as part of your PGP or CCP (in Domain 4-Professional Responsibilities)

· 20 PPAT Hours Per Team (40 Max)
· 8 CPDUS will be given each time you prepare and present a new presentation
· 3 CPDUs will be given each time you repeat a presentation

Our Goals
PLT SMART GoalsBy June of 2013, the PLT will increase participation in LT’s Professional Learning PD Workshops by a total of 5 percentage points (as compared to 2012).
By June of 2013, the PLT will increase participation on the PLT and each Teacher Leader Piece Team to include at least one active member from every division.
By June of 2013, the PLT will increase the awareness and use of the PLT website by a total of 10 percentage points (as compared to 2012 ).
By June of 2013, the PLT will sponsor at least two professional learning events pertaining to the Student Service Division.

Planned ActionsSend an outlook invite to all teachers for all Planning Period PD dates at the onset of the school year.
Expand PD Workshop advertising to include table tent advertisements in the cafeteria and posters in restrooms. Recruit 2-3 new buddies per month to attend that month’s Planning Period PD Workshop. Sponsor a Professional Learning Division SUPER FAN COMPETITION. Appeal to HR for predetermined PPAT and PGP credit for team participation.
Communicate the PPAT & PGP credit to the faculty. Communicate all Teacher Leader training opportunities and dates . Implement a new Recruitment Plan. Sponsor a Professional Learning Division SUPER FAN COMPETITION Introduce the faculty to the website on August 17th.
Incorporate the PLT Website Icon onto the LTHS pop-up page and the LTHS Website. Insure all Planning PD Workshops will demonstrate how to access their materials by logging onto the PLT Website. Send Weekly PLT e-mails to the faculty containing a link to the PLT website. Administer an end-of-year survey to measure website usage. Introduce the faculty to the website on August 17th.
